The RCEP forecasts a drop of 48 billion dollars in negotiations with non-member countries, while the estimated increase for intrabloc negotiations is more than 428 billion dollars by 2030!
The aim is to strengthen regional integration and reduce dependence on the West.
All estimates are being calculated without the presence of India in the bloc. In other words, if the Indians decide to participate in the bloc, these projections will be even higher!
Concerning Brazil, even though it presents a possibility of increasing soy exports to the main countries of the bloc, there is a great challenge: to compete with direct competitors such as Australia (ore) and Thailand (meat).
