There are more than 2.7 million robots in the world today, China has 783,000 of them.
By 2030, China expects to have more than 14 million robots in its factories.
In the same year, the mark of 800 robot manufacturers must be surpassed.
Despite being smaller than that of countries like South Korea and Japan, the robot density in China, of 187 per 10,000 workers, is higher than the world average. Brazil, for example, has only 12 to 13 robots for every 10,000 workers.
However, unemployment goes hand in hand with automation. It is estimated that China will lose more jobs to industrial robotization than any other nation, around 230 million.
